About Me
Hello my fair King or Queen! My name is Lauren Haas and I am branching out on a new endeavor! As a stay-at-home-mom of two boys, everyday is an adventure! I love my boys (my husband included, of course!) and how their sense of adventure and conquest has given me encouragement to find a way to fulfill passions in my life!

My top passions are:
-My Savior, Jesus
-My family & friends
-Singing/Acting
-Teaching young children
-Reading aloud
-Digital scrapbooking/photography

My goal in this adventure is to be able to shed God's light into these little princesses. Their inner beauty is what shines through these precious children. When they focus on inner beauty, they will surely create a positive difference in the world.
Throughout the party, I will inject the following concepts:
1. The true heart of a princess is one that begins with warmth to all people, even those who we may have a harder time getting along with.
2. Princesses encompass: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, self-control, bravery, courage, and compassion.
3. As gifts (mainly flowers) are given out, they will be reminded that that they can be a sweet aroma to others when practicing these principles, especially when it is hard to do.
4. Briefly discuss ways and ideas to be helpful, encouraging, and compassionate to others!
I will use age-appropriate vocabulary. I also understand that attention spans are short! Therefore, the visit is not a lecture time but rather immersed with simple, yet applicable principles as I meet and greet with the little ones.
My background:
-I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was 9. I've been doing my best to live for Him each day since then.
-I grew up in PA with my parents and 2 sisters, one of which had intense special needs.
-I was part of a show choir in middle school. However, I also enjoyed swimming and chose to dedicate most of my time to swimming year round.
-I graduated from high school and attended college where I received my undergraduate in Elementary Education from Duquesne University.
-I swam and lifeguarded all four years in high school and all four years in college.
-I worked at an elementary school right after graduating college as a first, second, and reading teacher. During this time I also received my Master's in Elementary Education from Kutztown University.
-I am married to my prince charming for sure! He is a true gift from God and I am incredibly thankful God allowed him to come and be my physical rock... and his support in this adventure!
-I am a proud mother of two handsome princes! They bring so much joy to my heart!
-I am a part of my church's praise team and drama team.
-While It was hard to walk away from teaching in the public school, my husband and I made the decision that I would stay at home when my second son was born.

I do have clearances upon request, including FBI, Criminal Record, and Child Abuse. I also have references upon request.
